Literature Text

I see Rainbow Dash a-flyin',
She's doing loop-De-loops
And Celesia yells to me,
Says, "You blame fool!"
I'm stuck in Equestria Prison.
No friendship in this sty.
When I hear Pinkie Pie scream "Hi!"
I hang my mane and cry.

When I was just a colt,
My mother told me, "Son,
Always be good foal,
Don't you ever play with spells."
But I released Discord.
He seemed like a swell guy.
Hey, he's hangin' with a pony...
Oh, wait, that's Fluttershy!

I bet there's ponies partyin',
Prob'ly havin' a ball,
Eatin' their cupcakes,
The party's not very far
Away from the prison.
That's where I wish to be.
But those ponies won't stop singin',
And that's what tortures me.

Well, if they gave me back my freedom
If I could roam the fields again,
I think my exuberance
Would make even Maud Pie grin.
But that's just a dream now;
For now I gotta do my time.
My magic cleans the streets up
'Til there's no dirt or grime.
A humorous parody of Johnny Cash's "Folsom Prison Blues" written by :iconr-dively: and :iconthedizzydan: in our spare time during chorus class.  This is what happens when a new Brony tries to resurrect another one by means of a common idol.
